FAQs

How wet can my hair be when I use it?

Towel-dried is the sweet spot — remove excess water but don't fully dry first. Do not use on soaking wet or dripping hair.

What's the difference between Wet and Dry mode?

Wet mode uses maximum airflow and is designed for damp hair. Dry mode is for refreshing or restyling already-dry hair. Boost adds a shot of extra heat in Dry mode.

What does Auto Pause do?

When the arms are open and you set the straightener down, airflow automatically reduces after 15 seconds. It reactivates as soon as you pick it back up.

Does it have heating plates?

No — the FLӀKT Wet-to-Dry Straightener uses an aluminium-free, airflow-only design. There are no heating plates, which means no direct plate contact and no thermal damage at high temperatures.

What temperatures does it have?

Three settings: 80°C for fine or delicate hair, 120°C for everyday use, and 140°C for thick or coarse hair.

Will it cause my lights to flicker?

High-power devices like this can sometimes cause lights to flicker when plugged into a circuit that's already under load. If this happens, try a different socket on a separate circuit.

How do I clean the filter?

Pull down on the filter unit to release it, clean away any lint or debris, then slide it back into place. Clean regularly for optimum performance.
